Album Art: The disembodied head of John Deutschendorf

Now that I have your attention... In fairness, I think a little bit of his collar is showing, but at first glance it’s kinda disturbing. 

This album cover is just plain weird. And it’s not only that his head is floating in an eerie orange glow; it’s the whole 80s vibe. Apparently, by this time our country boy had dropped his wire-rimmed spectacles and "aw shucks" grin and traded them for a New Wave glare and matching plastic complexion.

Oh, and you do know his real name was John Deutschendorf, right? (It translates as "German village" of all things!)
